A lot of the women in my family that turned to antidepressants really didn't seem that unhappy/unenergetic beforehand. I think they get on social media, see all of the other young attractive women that are posting nothing but their good times traveling/socializing/etc, and then they think that their not living their best life because they're not like that 24/7. I know that's kind of a boomer take and I don't blame it all on social media, but I really don't think these women are as depressed as their tricked into thinking they are.
