The vast majority (94%) of Americans these days get paid via direct deposit to their bank account. The handful getting paid via other methods are either working for very small businesses that have not yet bothered to update, or belong to the portion of the population that is too retarded to maintain a bank account.

Out of curiosity, how do payroll payments to that retard fraction work in other countries? Every large group of people will have a small portion of fiscal fuck ups who are unprofitable to provide bank accounts too. Granted, for assorted reasons that retarded but still employed fraction might be larger in the US than other developed countries, but certainly they still do exist.
