LTC was $50 in 2013. 1st LTC halvening was in 2015. LTC was $4 in 2017. LTC halvenings have no impact. Whole market depends on BTC.

Get a job. The goal is to stack BTC for the 2021 bullrun after halvening in 2020.

> 32 BILLION BTC needs to be bought. Most of the top 50 companies by revenue do a bit over 100 Million for essential products like Exxon Mobile, Chevron, etc.

Obviously I meant $32 Billion in BTC needs to be bought and these top companies do $100+ Billion in revenue. But you see my point. $100K BTC is going to be hard to support until a couple more halvenings after 2020

It's interesting because I had 21 BTC at one point but obviously I couldn't hold on to it all. Took my profits, paid off my house and I have some of it time locked which helped me not sell then I've been trying to accumulate more but I'll probably never get to 21 again. I'd have to sell off so many assets and take so much risk. This is probably even more true relatively speaking for bigger holders. This means that BTC gets more and more distributed.

That is equivalent to saying:
1) Mammal metabolic rate decreases with increasing body mass
2) Planet orbital period decreases with increasing distance from the sun
3) Frequency of earthquakes increases with increasing magnitude
...(these are all incorrect statements for the brainlets)
Point here is, you have a 0.95R^2 power-law relations across three -80% bubbles relating BTC price with many variables (time, supply, stock-to-flow, #activewallets).

Please do the needful sirs, and tell me one good reason to not be going all in on BTC this year

I actually did this in April 2017 when I had just bought a new townhouse in end of 2016 and was out of funds. I was fucking nervous the whole time and I paid off a good portion in September to pay off my loans. It's a really uneasy feeling but I had no choice since I though we were really at the start of a massive bullrun that would go up fast.

Right now, I think we are still in the early accumulation phase. This is like 2015. I would not take on credit card debt right now.

Even in mid-2017, I thought $10K BTC was retarded hype. It's really hard to believe until you hit certain ridiculous prices.

Now I am skeptical that Bitcoin can sustain these astronomical prices to support all the BTC rewarded to miners. But once that inflation cuts every halvening, I believe anything is possible.

Right now, moving money with bitcoin is fast, secure, and cheap.

Back in December, fees were $30 and more. What I want to discuss today is:
1) Can these fees be mitigated somehow in the future?
2) is it even possible to reduce these fees when everyone is using the network?
3) will lightning network have any ability to solve this issue?

I love bitcoin, but this is a big issue that needs to be addressed. Just wondering what the opinion of biz users are.

Only coins I hold along with ETH.

I used to have 21 BTC. Probably will never get that again unless I decide to liquidate my 401K or sell my house (which is almost paid off entirely with BTC last year).

Trying to acquire enough BTC for for the next 3 halvenings. Think longer term retards.

Bitcoin halvening occurred July 2016.

Bitcoin halvening will occur again in 2020. Major bullrun in 2021.

The 2 Bitcoin halvenings have produced 2 epic Bullruns. With the network effect, public awareness and Wall Street now involved, have to have < 90 IQ points to believe this won't happen again in 2021.
