Noob question. How do people 'know' (insofar as you can know stuff when there's so much rampant speculation) that vaccine stocks like Moderna are overvalued? I bought some of these stocks in the summer and a few weeks ago on the assumption that they would be good long-term investments because they would receive govt contracts every year. However my colleague, who's also into stocks and arguably more knowledgeable in this field (we both work in RNA science) says that they are overvalued and will get squished by Pfizer.

The stocks have already grown in value %100 since I bought them. Should I pull out tomorrow? A lot of big vaccine news is gonna come out this week and I'm suddenly not so confident about this one.
