TFW you realize that a 50-40-10 stocks/bonds/gold portfolio following major indices & diversified across world markets is less volatile relative to major international currencies averaged, than the national currency of your home country. Regardless of how first-world it may be.

My boomer dad put all of my inheritance in a bank account with a fixed interest rate of 3% for five years. Not only was this barely higher than inflation for most world currencies, it ended up falling overall relative to them because the exchange rate fell by 20% in one year.

I feel royally screwed over & cheated. Currency-related assets are often talked about as if they are low-risk low-reward, but they're actually risky as fuck even on relatively short timescales.

I know this coin will probably never take off, but I've never seen a coin that's easier to margin trade. Up and down between 4500 days and 3500 days like clockwork. I can't believe how easy it has been to net $100 once or twice a week
