The answer to the question is no. Not by any definition of insider trading. Passenger in a plane is a customer of the business. Customer has a bad experience they are absolutely within their right to use that experience as thesis for bearish bets against the company.

can you not do some satellite thing they charge extra for or is not that how that works? I don't know I haven't been on a plane in 12 years and I will never set foot on a plane ever again.

The FED meeting is today right? Something must have leaked. I bet FED raises by 25 bps which is of course insanely bullish since 25 bps are pretty much like admitting a pause. Anything below 50 bps is a useless endeavor

This is very shrimple. Greedflation at its peak. First raise prices by 200% --> people get mad --> lower by 50% --> people happy --> you end up with 100% higher prices while maintaining happiness of the people. There is a reason why most European stocks are posting record earnings (by a huge margin no less).
The only class of people that are negatively impacted by this inflation FUD situation we have going on here is the lower class. Everyone else benefits.
Hell, we have increased our earnings by more than 60% just last year. We simply told everyone that costs are going up and it's becoming increasingly more difficult to pay people and so on.
People nowadays are too rich and are willing to pay extreme prices for "quality" even though the same quality cost 50% just few years ago. And if your business relies on the older generations, then you can easily squeeze 100%+ profits since their wallets know no bounds.
These artificially set price caps are good since they placate people.
