That’s another thing people don’t consider.
With the cost and regulation now, you have to commit yourself to flying. And when I mean commit I mean to the point of not having a social life for chunks of the year. At all.
You have to eat and breathe flying while doing your licence. Flying once a week while in school is a good regime for failure. You have to be doing it 4+ times a week. With multiple hours of studying a day as well for the written exam.
80% of people quit once they realize what’s involved and how expensive it is.
I’m 30yo now. Yea I own a plane..but the things it has cost me can not be measured in dollars.
Do I have a gf? Yea. But I didn’t for years trying to get my shit together so I could fly.
She also knows she’s #2 on the priority list. Because I have stated it openly.
I’ve lost many women over this. Do I regret it?
Absolutely not.
Somethings can’t be measured in dollars. Or even properly explained.
Flying is an addiction just like any drug. Once you’re hooked, you’ll do anything to do it.

Morals? Ask a ‘normal fag’ what they consider their moral code to be.
8/10 times it will be indistinguishable from the next. They will fall lock step into what we have all been indoctrinated to believe is ‘moral’ as preached by our socially responsible and equitable masters.
Doing otherwise would require free thought and a strong sense of self.
Conviction.
The masses are ruled by these modern codes and more so, by their emotions.
Be part of the ever shrinking pool of individuals who have a code that goes against what we are conditioned to think and act.
