the SLV fund is owned dilution of the paper price. what weve been trying for months to get people to understand is that every time theses banks need to drop the price they """Sell""" a billion of these paper contracts at a time to their buddies and buy them back later for less. it has no meaning, they have placed an ounce of silver on a printer and hit copy 500-1000 times and never have more silver than before they hit print. the implications of telling everyone the kind is naked are biblical in proportions

It's pure manipulation, not "deflation." The only thing being sold is empty contracts on a futures exchange. An exchange where there are 100 digital ounces for each real ounce of physical metal. Nobody is actually selling silver right now. If you want to learn about this subject, start here.

Most of us here fully expect the paper price to go to zero, while the price of physical at bullion-dealers and miners continues to rise. We also don't expect mining stocks to fall beyond a certain point.

Physical silver didn't drop in price, and silver mining stocks are still fine. Continuing their 60 days of consolidation before the next leg up. They haven't sunk below the 20 July/11 August floor, nor will they do so. Even ultra-leveraged silver stocks like Impact Silver only went down 5% today, even though silver was down 10%. Nobody believes these COMEX shake-outs any more.

SILJ didn't dump below the 20 July/11 August floor, as expected, despite the 10 percent drop in silver. Only weak hands throwing away miners now. Consolidation continues ahead of Q3 earnings.
