I've recently finished up a 4 year accounting programme in Canada, and thinking of going for a CPA (formerly CGA, CMA, and CA). Does anyone know of any of the loopholes in the new amalgamation process? My friends and I have been discussing ignoring the 3 year work term requirement by applying to the old CGA programme before its amalgamated. Do you think this could work? Thoughts?

Also schooling thread.
