Exactly. One would think you guys would figure out why optional privacy is bad by now.

tail emission is based. Preserves the mining network, makes up for lost coins, is linear (and sub 1%) so it is priced in, etc. But tell me anon, which cryptocurrency has the lowest inflation right now, and will have the lowest inflation over the next two decades? Go on, I'll wait right here.

Imagine unironically investing in a kike backdoor with 58% yearly inflation.

Monero has the lowest inflation in crypto. The block reward is under 2 xmr. The upward pressure on the price will reveal itself as more news stories about chain analysis come to fruition.

Additionally, Monero actually has a current use case. There is no speculation. Monero can be used today and guarantee virtually complete privacy due to it's privacy being built in the base layer. The dark net is transitioning towards monero because of this, and to avoid future chain analysis tech improvements. As crypto goes, Monero will be the go-to crypto to avoid government surveillance, and for people to hide money from taxation.

just because it doubled in price does not mean long term the value is going to look nice. It's a pump and dump coin based on asic hoarders first off, but second your value is depreciating at 58% per year. play with fire if you want but monero is the long term option and everybody who studies crypto gets this. All cryptos are getting pumped right now, so this is absolutely meaningless.

If you were smart at all you would dump your zcash and put it all in monero instead of eating that massive inflation. But you are a retard so whatever.

also zcash is not used on the dark net at all. you are talking out of your ass.

>Zero knowledge proofs are more private than ring signatures. This is a fact.

97% of zcash transactions are not shielded. This is a fact.

Monero's privacy is more than adequate and is usable out of the box. This is enormously beneficial to entice normies to use Monero. There currently exists no way of tracing Monero outside of fringe metadeta leaks from using a centralized exchange, but even in this case it is fool proof privacy.

>Because AlphaBay blessed it with liquidity, after accumulating a bunch, and the rest of the dark web has subsequently sanctioned it, likely because it's the same people

That's not what liquidity means. Alphabay was just the first usecase of monero, which helped build it's prominence in the dark net. Monero's liquidity is based on it being available on numerous exchanges.

Zcash has no use case. Nobody uses zcash for private transactions. Nobody uses zcash on the dark net. It is a pump and dump coin that is about going to get rekt by inflation and asic miners pumping and dumping.
