Avalanche consensus ALWAYS emphasis security over liveness, While fundamentally this is more bullish and better both in practice and theory, This leave room for fuds to organize when the network enter defence mode due its very design, Something it's hard to do on other insecure networks as the casual crypto investors/trader wouldn't even notice there's a bug because they emphasized liveness over security.
