That being said, I am prepared to believe that 4chan's ruthless and cutthroat culture is the message board representation of the idea meritocracy that Bridgewater Associates champions. This is an ANONYMOUS forum. We have no identities except for the words, the ideas that we post. If you come in here and expect to be spoonfed, of course people are gonna be annoyed. If you dare come off with "i'm a girl teehee", of course people are gonna be pissed off. if you come in expecting sympathy from an abusive relationship to a place where half these guys don't have the social skills to get into one and would stupidly jump to be in your place and get an abusive girlfriend, of course they're gonna be pissed off and say the obvious, "leave him".
