First thing that got me interested into this type of thinking was the power structure of the time. It was exerted through a system of nobility intermarriage, think dynasties. Very similar to the structure WEF/globohomo has setup.
Fraternities, that later developed into guilds, was a way to take and exert power as a group. Eventually these guilds led to the modern "company".
