This is pretty much the truth. I'm not going to LARP since this is an anonymous board and I don't give a shit: I went to a mid-tier law school, was depressed throughout law school, did terribly during 1L, didn't network, passed the Bar on my first try and now I'm a practicing attorney. I have massive debt which I likely won't pay off until I'm 50 years old. Work is stressful as fuck and current salary was not at all worth the trouble.

That being said, my situation is "worse case scenario". I'd say that if you are a hard worker, can handle being stressed out and miserable for half a decade, and have nothing to lose (i.e. no girlfriend, no goals/ambitions besides "muh money", nothing else holding you back), go to law school. It's worth a shot because you can actually make a lot of money doing so.

However, if you're a CREATIVE person who has major goals and ambitions and high work-rate, and you don't want to be someone else's legal drone, and you can't afford to lose 2 years of your life (3L doesn't really count) to stressful labor, just pursue Entrepreneurship instead. From your OP you sound pretty lawyer-ish though, so I'm not really going to try and talk you out of it.

I only did coke a few times in my life but it was kind of based. Less good than adderall, but made having to "go out on the town" with dude-bros a lot less painful.

The truth is, the "going out" culture in big cities relies heavily on cocaine because it's fucking hellish and boring and people require drugs/alcohol to overcome how shitty it is. This can all be avoided by simply not going out, and instead finding cooler more interesting things to do. Every once in a blue moon it's absolutely necessary and based though

This is an argument against ETH, not against BAT.

I'm working as a paralegal at the moment and 95% of my job could be done faster, better, and more efficiently by automation. The legal software I use is essentially already doing the legwork, but I have listen to clients/pull teeth to get the information from the clients and then plug that info into the software.

That being said, even though the bumbling borderline-retarded attorney I work for does next to nothing, I don't think automation can replace some of the niche-aspects of being an attorney. People essentially pay lawyers to be their human-stand-ins in the legal process. They want someone to talk to, explain their problems to, to empathize with them and tell them everything is alright and that they deserve to be filthy stinking rich. Even though a robot could do this, people want the human-aspect. So I can't see automation replacing attorneys at least for a very long time.

The true blackpill is pretending to be an NPC but subtly making fun of them while doing it. That way you get the benefits of interacting with NPC's but you keep your sanity.

With a large network and more expensive BTC it makes perfect sense that miners will be able to earn a profit from fees.
