Oh, yes, and the recommendation - literally anything other than cash and bonds. Stocks, real estate, precious metals, maybe even crypto or trading cards if you're a risk taker but if you're not, just buy SPY, VEA, and whatever the ex-China version of EEM is in the proportions of your choosing and hold on. Do keep just enough to last through a temporary liquidity crunch (at a personal or market level, so probably a 6-12 months of expenses) in case there's a flashcrash/dollar short squeeze event. Feel free to allocate to memestocks as well but if fear of picking a loser is keeping you 100% in cash then dip your feet into a few ETFs to get yourself out of holding that depreciating paper.
