>ask bank for limit increase
>never been late on a payment
>have had auto loans and life insurance with bank
>never been late on a payment
>never overdraft or go negative on any accounts
>get denied credit increase

So, today I was paying down my credit card balance early as usual, and notice a thing on the bank's site saying that I'm 'pre-approved' for a credit card I already have with them.

Click the link, and 'apply' for the new credit card.
It's like three pages and five questions later, and they're sending me another card with a $25k limit.
