Crypto currency is a terrible long term investment. Short term it is great, but there is only money to be made in bitcoin and new coins. The former is costly to invest in and make mass profit while the latter is gambling, the only good new coin was ironically link but that is going down the shitter.

So if you are a younger memeber of biz the best option for long term investment is any type of stocks that pay out quarterly dividends. The amazing thing about it is if you just wageslave or hustle a few years you can buy enough dividend stocks to live off of and live that comfy neet lifestyle.

Also you don’t have to pay taxes on qualified dividends as long as you make under $3900 a year if single twice that if married. You also get to keep your principal while reaping in those dividends.

When buying buy AT&T, Coke, Verizon, McDonald’s, basically big business. Don’t buy any dividend stocks that are from small business with high yields that depreciate in value. Big business stocks like the above mentioned have always increased their dividends and paid them out with their stock going up in value as well.

Didn't see one, all you fuckers talk about is bitcoin. I'm starting a small business hopefully within a year. I am a project manager and make decent money and by this time next year I will have 25,000 set aside for a business venture. My wife and I are thinking of a cool little bakery/coffeeshop type deal. We will get a location near campus and attract all the hipsters and college kids. Does anyone have any good resources on how to do financial projections or otherwise know where to get advice on how to start something like this? Also, general small business thread. Who owns one? How did you get started? How well are you doing now? Any crazy stories of triumph or failure we could learn from?
