You are an early Bitcoiner. You understood the Central Bank fiat currency system, the value of efficient digital payments networks, and how decentralized ledgers could serve as Stores of Value in the modern age. You managed to accumulate a considerable ammount of BTC, putting you in the top 10.000 hodlers.
You enjoy the wonders of the technology and the gains that came with it for years. Sure, you used to be able to Mine it at home; transactions used to take 10min, and fees were way cheaper. But the looms of centralization no longer bother you. Comfy at home, that's no longer your problem.
Years later a new technology comes out. One that executes the very fundamentals of your beloved Bitcoin, but in a better way: anti-fragile decentralization, stronger privacy, fast transactions, low energy consumption, negligible fees, no debasement, and more. "Woah, that's amazing!" you think at first.
But then you realize. In the current situation, a Bitcoin scenario puts you between the top 10.000 holders. If you were to transition to this new coin, you would only manage to acquire a lower percentage of its Market share, and would have to step down your position.
So for selfish reasons, you boycott the new coin and subsequent competitors. Even tho Humanity would benefit a lot from the new technology, you, individually, would be worse off. So you make a plan.
You create and feed a Maximalism narrative: "there is only one, and there can only be one coin!"; driving all those newcomers to the old tech. Misdirected by your manipulation, you dump on them while you accumulate the new coin, to at least preserve your current position in the future.
Understand that maximalists are not your friends and don't want the best for you. Observe the universe, spot conflicts of interest and take your OWN conclusions.
Don't fall for short time price fluctuations. Fundamentals have never been stronger. The winners of this space will be here for decades to come.

Let's change the world with NANO.
