so, you just wait till expiry and go to the next contract and short it and that contract is most probably priced higher and thats it?

anyway, i dont have access to vix futures, maybe later I will allocated some money to that.

right now, i have a decent curve as well. less bumpy than the short vix strategy.
picrel is what you see is what you get - rollover fees.

besides, it handles black swans like 2020 and 2008 way better.
