Ya, even if Trump is a legit white hat he was never going to be our savior, at best he's a stop-gap of our coming fall. That is unless we can just buy ourselves a couple more decades without the US completely collapsing and then the technological singularity will have time to arrive and anyone with any significant amount of assets invested can ride the coattails of the immense wealth it will create which will cause the markets to moon to eternity.
Or it could devolve into economic collapse, civil war, and balkanization of the US. Could go either way at this point, hard to tell. Best to hedge your bets imo with some money in traditional markets and also crypto wealth stashed away that you can run off with to another country if the US implodes.

Unironically the best way to ride along on the singularity is sp500 index funds. You guys really think the corps won't be sucking up the vast majority of wealthy created by AIs? Don't get me wrong I've got some crypto too, but if you're betting on the singularity happening the best way to make sure you get a piece of the wealth it's going to create is just getting an index fund and holding up to and through the singularity.
