Isn't that what we're pricing in?
A Recession and a full stop in a large part of the economy? I DO NOT think we're pricing in the deaths of any members of governent, and I think that could be what triggers the over-correction.

Why the fuck am I still 75% invested then???
damn... I guess because I need to recover that 20% or whatever we fell, and I don't want to sell low. And I don't think I can time the market too well. Still... shit I can't believe I literally slept through these 2-3 times in a lifetime events!

both true, but there are still some areas where they aren't allowed to bring phones or something, can't bring privileged information in (or out?)

Depends on what you mean. Greenwashing has been a thing since the 70's. Larry just knows which way the wind blows.

Exxon and other oil companies have been planning on accelerated climate change for decades as well, and corporations/governments are dividing up the frozen territory they expect to find all sorts of goodies in, as well as new routes for trade.

Albedo effect is not a meme, thawing of the frozen tundra is not a meme. Alaska is likely fucked. We can't say with 100% confidence that this is caused by human activity, but the rapid release of energy and CO2 from hydrocarbons is a pretty new phenomenon in it's current form. It's only been happening at this scale since the industrial revolution.

The partisan polarization has made it into an identity issue, and memed the American public into deciding it either doesn't matter or is the most important thing ever.
