I can never really tell where the noises come from. Right now I'm dealing with some idiot who sounds like he's wearing heavy boots indoors and pacing back and forth and then kicking the walls. I recently saw some effeminate dark-skinned fuckhead stomping loudly in the hallway of our apartment, and he was whistling loudly and singing to himself too like a spastic. Based on his level of sheer obnoxiousness and lack of self-awareness, I believe he may the be the serial stomper.
I've complained to management numerous times, but they're basically like, "Sorry bro, if he's not physically harming you, then there's nothing we can do – even if your neighbor is loud and retarded."

I pay $1,825 for a small studio and if I want to renew, I have to cough up $2,650. Any other place in my area is way more expensive.
Even in the small town where I'm from, 1-bedroom apartments are roughly the same price, so it's not entirely a geographical thing.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you, only I earn a little more and thus pay a little more for my rent. In order for me to find any apartments within reasonable distance to my job, I have to pay at east $3,000 a month for a cramped studio.

I have both. I had 5.5 million WLUNA, and I was only able to withdraw about 5 million of it off Gemini to unwrap on Kucoin mere moments before the big fork last week. My 500k WLUNA remained on Gemini, so I'm just going to keep it to see if it re-pegs to LUNA 2.0.

Correct. I work in finance.
I have a good job that pays well, but I got in trouble last year and as part of my punishment, my work-from-home privileges were revoked, but I cleaned up my act and I'll be allowed to work remotely in a few months.
In the meantime, I'm stuck in this hellhole with rising crimes and rising rents.
