I don't know why you all on /biz/ torture yourselves with alts. I personally have seen the light.

I used to be all in on alts. I basically had only alts. However, I dropped from 32k all the way down to 4k. It was complete destruction. I blame that shitcoin known as ICON. Regardless, I have recovered a decent amount since then: however, most importantly, I am realizing that I have been utterly retarded with my crypto moves this whole time. Most of us have.

It's like we like to torture ourselves. We like seeing big gains and that comes with alts. But in a bear market, it's basically suicide. The moment BTC drops -1%, you're down -10%. More. In other words, you're at the mercy of BTC and you're basically fucked. To quote Artie Bucco, it's been non-stop ass rape... since late January.

So my new strategy: alts can go fuck themselves during this bear market. For now, I'm holding 50%+ of my portfolio in BTC at all times. Now, I only lost a $100 or $200 bucks as opposed to over $1k if I had been holding alts. Then, once we hit all those juicy indicators, I'm just gonna scoop up the alts at the bottom and ride the 10 - 25% upswing. Sell for BTC and accumulate. Rinse and repeat.

Time to start playing this like a bear market. Not every small rise is the return of the bull. If you think that, it's time to stop responding to this market emotionally.

In a bear market, BTC is king. Remember that. And with BAAKT coming out in November, there is literally no better time to be holding BTC then now. Not only do you get the benefit of any upswing, but you also get to scoop up cheap alts and flip them for profit. It's a win-win.
