Scottsdale Mint sells 1/5 fractional gold. Just don't expect to get it in a hurry. I like the selection they have, but hate the wait.

Is there some reason gas fees are astronomical right now? I have to bump up my slippage to 6% for the is one shitcoin. Is it just because a lot of people are trading right now?

I used to use Coinbase and Bittrex a while back but I've been out of the loop.

What apps are people mostly using to buy these alt coins since most companies only seem to deal with popular coins?

I did the same thing, too. People can rust over very easily right now by spending so much time inside. I also modified my diet, and I'm taking multivitamins.

Time for a /biz/ performance survey. Please answer the following questions regardless of if you've made money and be truthful with your answers. Keep in mind survivorship bias and that we'll never hear from the thousands of people who blew up their accounts and stopped coming here.

What was the total amount of money contributed into your trading/investment accounts?

What is the amount you have now?

How long did this take you?

They're going to be pushing the age to receive full benefits to 67. Most will die or be close to death before then. Let's say they lose those benefits completely. This passes the burden to their family if they have one. If they don't, it's work or death. There wont be a revolt. That will happen when food stamps vanish. I don't know how far away that is but you should be prepared.

Not classy my fren. But to answer your question, I think the billionaires are very aware that their obscene oceans of wealth inspire envy and jealousy among everyone else. Social pressure requires them to act humble. This is why they must say their success was due to hard work and "following their passion" so it seems a little more accessible to the working class watching them on TV.

>Is there anything stopping the people needing these contracts from operating their own nodes and running only their jobs on their own nodes for cheap?
That question is answered in OP's remarks about supplanting asymptotic trust thresholds with a top down approach to establishing a standard for Oracle conduct.

As OP said
>human perception matters.
>For that reason the chainlink network cannot launch decentralized and must launch with as much provider/node transparency as possible. This sets the floor for node behavior when the network does decentralize. Only though doing it this way will people, with all their flaws, see the value.
>Put another way: the only way to successfully launch any oracle network is from the top down with respect to real-world trust. If you could launch a perfectly coded, perfectly transparent, perfectly decentralized oracle network right now you would still lose to chainlink. An oracle network must first have the buy in (and implicit pledge to perform) of those agencies with the most real world trust. The network which harvests these residual trust sources from the real world is the one that wins, and the one that wins is the de facto monopoly because those that can't harvest this resource must traverse the sybill period to launch.

Let it sink in more fren
