I just want free time to work on my art, make some video games and take care of my parents and brother.

Who else in debt here? Let's talk about it.

Due to a string of misfortunes I'm about $22,000 in debt with an 8% APR.

Making double payments (about $850/mo) every time is unsustainable-but I can probably do it 8-10 months out of the year (t. poorfag but lives with his parents), and I do intend to do it whenever possible. How do I estimate what the total sum of the interest paid will be? If I have a 750 credit score will a 22k loan payoff be enough to increase that score to 800?
