i love teaching. it's fun, it's cool to work with the little shits and share wisdom.
it's not a good career to make a lot of money. you can, through hanging in, the hours aren't that bad (inb4 muh grading the hours aren't that bad t. english teacher w essays n stuff), and you have summers to work side gigs. there's easier ways to make money though if that's your goal.
get into teaching if you have something you want to actually teach. i got into it to share the message of Christ and encourage alternate means than the standard college -> corporate -> stuff pipeline that i was taught growing up and is promoted by most media. with that in mind, my job has purpose and meaning, since the kids are inundated (t english teacher) w material influences.

i don't know about boarding schools, but private schools, even local good ones, pay less than public and have worse benefits.
