Ok /biz/ over these past couple of months I have read every single book in pic related.

Now what?

Let's make a legitimate book list. I'm pretty sure half of the books in here are memes, and I want to know what you think is a /biz/-tier book.

Can we have a /biz/ book thread? Also this list needs updating, a lot of these are shit, and I'm pretty sure even Buffet said that the Intelligent Investor is irrelevant today. (i.e. efficient market)

from these books which are better for a guy who wants to have reasonable knowledge and minimum know-how on wtf I'll be doing. Ratios, indicators, slang, patterns, etc.

Basically where should I start?

First year commerce student checking in. Still unsure what to specialize in, b/c I like everything I study so far. I was told these books would teach me a lot and help me understand what I want more. What book would you recommend I start with? Is there more must read literature that is not on here?

What bank does /biz/ use? I was wondering if it matters what bank you have an account with? Is it bad to have more than one account open?

Yea most "how to" books are for retards, had the same expression with "The richest man in Babylon". It was an ok read but the bottom line was, save, invest, repeat.
But if you specialize the subjects of the books they will get better/harder in my expierence.

I heard that "the intelligent investor" is a good book, but I haven't read it. I've read the lean startup and I actually learned something, I've only started reading financiel related books recently though.

UK here, wondering if anyone could shed any light about CFDs and the tax you pay. If for example someone was to get all their income from CFDs would they pay Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax or both?

Hi biz,

Because of the place I work at I have received promotional offer for the mortgage with interest rate of only 1,32%. It is variable interest rate tied to euribor. And I am not sure should I use it. Generally I am against having any debt but these interest rates seem too good to pass. I have enough cash to buy real estate without a loan so in this case I would look at it as investment. I would buy it and rent it out, I project that rent would cover 80 percent of monthly payments. it would cover 100 percent if I would extend mortgage to 20 years, should I do so? or maybe make it 10 years?

I am strong saver saving 80 percent of my income and investing it in mostly stocks so every time I dont have someone renting the place I would have to use money which would normally go to buying more etfs for paying out mortgage.
