Today at work, an excited customer (whom I personally know and who himself knows nothing about stocks) was excitedly telling everyone how stupid people are for not buying into the market now, after a 9 year bull run. I forget who, but a similar story was told by someone right before the market crash leading into the Great Depression, when a young shoe-shiner was telling himto buy in. Needless to say, he cashed out.
