Oh, I never entered NVDA to begin with. My timings have primarily been natural gas and SOXS. Admittedly I fell to temptation and sold some puts on soxl at $20.50 strike, which assigned, but I got lucky and it went to that $25, then fell to $23 at which point I hedged. I didn't hedge enough, soxl is dropping like a rock, but luckily it's not even 10% of my folio at cost basis.

Yeah, I hate selling calls personally, I only do them ITM and for months out as a defensive measure. Selling them OTM grants a pathetic pittance compared to how much your underlying is being actively savaged by bobo, or it rockets into the stratosphere and you just glare at it the entire time until you roll calls on dips or accept death and let the shares assign. I'm a much happier camper writing puts then calls in these strange times.
