factually wrong on so many levels, you would need to spend hours sharpening a katana after cutting up a dozen watermelons, it would be dull and shitty before it touched the knights flesh

you know why katana users had to be so diciplined? because if you tried to use the sword to cut anything without the proper technique it would shatter and/or not even manage to cut the soft target you were using

a katana is a sword made from just about the worst steel possible, its a miracle that anyone was able to use them to get a kill at all, considering moisture (including blood) causes them to rust and kink into themselves like an accordion

hell you need to oil it daily to stop it from deteriorating from thermal expansion caused by daytime heat differences

europe/asias shittiest made iron swords, hell even most bronze swords, were far more durable than a steel katana, and that alone says something about how sad they were
