Read it with two book marks. It gets a lot of hate for being top tier gen x, but it's absolutely beautiful prose and if you're depressed, there are so many parts of the book that will read like Wallace is inside your head. Be warned, it is a serious slog (but worth it), so I wouldn't recommend getting back into reading with Infinite Jest. Start with Watership Down or Hyperion.
