Meh it’s natural while in a human meat sack to want a mate I’m pretty sure it’s part of the package. Ever delve into spirituality/Jungian psychology? In a sense “enlightenment” is wanting to become whole or one with god/return to source type of deal I believe. What a lot of addictions like COOMING, alcoholism and drugs are trying to get that feeling of being whole/return to the womb/source. Sex is no different, yes it’s how we reproduce but if you look up some of the Dionysian myths of the orgasm being a mode of your consciousness feeling like it’s in “heaven” for that brief moment it’s just another form of trying to become whole again from what I’ve gathered. So with enough meditation and spiritual practices I believe you can overcome the animal need of mating at some point. Might take a decade though who knows.
