no worries. before all this shit we were pretty comfy and i dont think that will change. usually the online dealers charge more premium through their payment options for different amounts. when i buy from my local coin shop. i pay even less than the 50+ bank wire price because they are the tits and i like going in there alot. what you want to avoid is meme coins and numismatics if you want raw metal holding. buy constitutional (pre 1964 change) and fractional foreign gold (if not 1 oz increments). do the math and follow your gut. its not real hard but it can be intimidating. your coin shop might even be one of those stores that just sucks. feel free to walk away. dont buy on ebay unless you know what your really doing

hang out here, buy things as close to spot as you can, buy from trusted known dealers (some dealers use ebay too). if your not sure, post here and ask. youll get used to what things cost after a few weeks. dont pay more than 2.50 dollars for a merc dime etc,etc

14 merc dimes is an ounce troy, 50 (standard tube) is 3.7 ozt, face value is something like 20 by me so i pay 2.00$ a merc dime at my lcs. 2x14=28$ an ounce. and its any mix of us constitutional pre 1964
