I am a full stack web developer. A few weeks ago I had an idea for an AI related product and began developing it. The idea was so good that for the first time ever instead of getting excited about a new idea I just felt an empty, cold, sober need to begin working as fast as possible to get it done. Currently the product itself is complete and I working on building the surrounding web infrastructure such as user API key management and other metrics stuff to get a handle on tracking user numbers.

The issue is that this is a completely new category of product that is relatively easy to implement. It’s very basic tech with a creative approach that makes it highly useful. The insight comes from the fact that I am actually not an AI researcher, but just an enthusiast with a number of other intersecting interests.

I need advice because this is a fragile situation. From a product standpoint, this is just the way things are going to be done in the future. Someone WILL make a lot of money off of this exact type of product, the only question is if it will be me or someone else. If any anons know how to navigate the startup world or know how to get quality investor meetings I would be very appreciative.

I am coming to you because despite the usual well poisoning, this place actually has a lot of smart people.

How likely is that there is already a more powerful version of AI than we already have (available for public use) now? The AI is so powerful that it will disrupt society, especially the economy, since it could replace hundreds or thousands of job. But because the mass is not ready for it, they haven't made public yet.

Has anyone here tried it before? From what I've read it's practically easy money to be made. What program would you use/how would you best implement it?

>former FANG L3 engineer here

I have just been layoff with my coworkers by my former employer, who replaced all of us with ChatGPT. What kind of new career path should I choose now that developers are obsolete?
