That's an interesting perspective. On the contrary, I find some cherished morality by consciously participating in the rat race. I think there's something noble about pursuing a career to support a family - not necessarily the pursuit of wealth or power, but as a means to an end. Having a wife and kids and making them happy is nothing to be looked down upon. It's actually extremely based and there's a modern perversion trying to twist caring for a family into some sort of terrible thing.

This, but for the most part, yes I hate my job. Dealing with clients is the worst thing in the entire world and has taught me how terrible people really are. People are impatient, stupid, rude and don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. I think the lowest IQ aren't intellectually capable of thinking about others, while high IQ often aren't emotionally capable of thinking about others.

There are certain days which aren't as bad as others, and that tricks my brain into injecting dopamine into my system. Also the money injected into my bank account helps.

I'd quit to become a NEET again literally any day of the week, but unfortunately I have chosen a career path that has me 1) in debt and 2) relying on steady employment on my resume.
