It's a shame to see the hype eat so many people up!
In a worst case scenario, say you've loaded up on a flavour of the month micro cap, you see the value of the token/coin halve, if you cash out at that point, you have guarenteed yourself a 50% loss of the funds you put in. However if you carry on holding there's still a possibility that at some point your shitcoin seed may blossom into a 1bn market cap gem.

The catch here is that if you are putting in upwards of 50% of your available wealth into said microcap (or heavens forbid, more than 50%) regardless of how strong your hands are, no one has the mental discipline to sit with their hands in their lap as they watch their networth tumble. I struggle to watch losses on even 1% investments.

It may be hard to feel left out when you see people buying 500k stacks of whatever coin, but buy your stacks in a proportionate size to your net worth. Personally with stuff like this, I wouldnt risk more than half a percent, you'll only lose money chasing these 100x rocketship coins. if you see people buying 1m stacks, thats probably because they have a lot of money to play with, you wont get to that kind of wealth going all in.

Remember, the biggest destroyer of wealth is greed.

Sorry to hear it fren, it’s very rough, and the cycles of failure are very frustrating. Parental love doesn’t automatically include empathy or respect. At this point I’m almost never speaking to them. Any time I try I either have to behave like I’m optimistic or they start telling me how if I don’t hold down a job or finish college my future will be terrible.

You and I already know we will have ery hard futures, we just want some empathy and acknowledgement that we are trying our fucking best. I had so many hopes and dreams and still do but they feel so far away.

Do people hate LINK for reasons besides its /biz/ popularity?
I understand being frustrated when half the posts are about LINK but what other reasons are there for disliking it?
