I can't predict anything about this fucking market. We just had a retarded bear market rally for no reason and now we're dipping back down again for a reason that didn't matter last time but now suddenly it does.

when I was a kid I bought 4 sealed original pokemon trading card booster boxes. I can't remember because this was 2 decades ago, but I think when I "grew out" of pokemon I threw my binders of cards in the trash.

The same happened to my magic the gathering cards from the same era.

Probably at the very least 20+ grand of cards if not more because honestly I don't remember anything about my magic the gathering collection or what cards I had, but these were cards from the early 2000s so who knows what I could have had.

and I threw them out because I didn't care for it anymore.

I did something similar with my entire nintendo DS collection, as well as my game boy advance games. Those I probably could have had at least a few grand from today if I kept them. At least I still have all my gamecube, ps2 and original xbox games.

what's the point to anything anymore? i haven't had a job in 3 months and my bank account got absolutely gutted. i spent all my free time worrying if it was going to go broke or find a job. now i have a job, just as it was going to zero, and it pays fucking shit due to inflation and now i spend all my time worrying that my life is passing me by. i had to fucking fight and barter for the same wage i was making 10 years ago. and the job itself is so fucking boring that when i get off work i'm so mentally fucking exhausted i only have the capacity to mindlessly stare at youtube videos for an hour, while i eat dinner before i have to go to bed early enough to not fall asleep at my desk the next day. this is actually a fucking living nightmarish hellscape for me and i dont see a way out. i feel unbelievably suffocated by factors far outside of my control and i have no idea what the fuck to do. and all the while i keep getting bombarded with news stories of zoomers making my entire salary in seconds on social media. its really making me want to rope because i have done everything i was supposed to do in life-- get the diploma, get the degree, hold a steady job and it promised a home, a family, retirement and all that stuff has been irrevocably torn from the table and i'm struggling to see a point to much of anything now.
