/biz/, I've fucked up royally. I'm about to turn 21 and I haven't had a steady job in over a year. At first it was because of me being a general fuck up and not making it to work on time but now every job I've had after that ended up being temporary part time jobs.

I've been lying on my resume and stretching the dates of my employment but still no luck. I know the places I have been applying at conduct background checks but I don't know how much they actually research.

So I wanted to know is should I keep lying about my past work history or am I better off pretending I haven't even worked lately? I know this is all my fault but I desperately need help.

Somewhat related question, I have been considering entering a trade but I'm broke so right now job corps would be my only option. Would that be a good idea or should I wait until I can pay for it through community college?
