Monero is a diamond in the rough, and its going to take bitcoin maximalist by surprise. Monero is pretty much bitcoin 2.0. I know that many shitcoins have claimed that in the past, but when bitcoin launched it was very ideological, i mean just look at the genesis block if you disagree. Monero is the most ideological project in the space now i would argue, since most bitcoiners have become blinded in their greed. Fungibility is a core aspect of sound money, and you can only achieve fungibility through privacy. To be quite honest, i'm a little worried about a "bitcoin takes all or bitcoin winner" future, since all transactions are recorded publicly. It could turn very draconian by a government pretty quick.
