Yep, as long as no one uses bitcoin, fees are low. Monero is already helping with that by taking over darknet transactions.

BTC is only good as a ponzi. Sometimes they pretend it's useful to help pump the ponzi but as soon as you actually try use it they scream at you to stop making their ponzi look bad.

>Its the same as bitcoin just private
Most coins including Zcash are forks of bitcoin with some minor changes it bolt ons. Monero is a completely different codesbase. Monero shares what I would consider bitcoin's breakthrough which is proof of work securing a public blockchain. Besides that core function there are lots of differences and the main one worth pointing out is the dynamic blocksize which is enabled by the tail emission and is therefore not possible with bitcoin. It's a big deal because it means monero can actually scale. For example even onboarding the world to lightning network on btc would take about 100 years with no other transactions taking place. In 2017 most of the stores that had been accepting btc dropped it because using the network for payments became basically impossible. Virtually nothing has improved for btc scalability since then so you can bet another bull run would be disastrous for bitcoin's credibility. Bitcoiners have already resorted to attacking anyone who actually uses bitcoin because it makes their ponzi look bad.
