you can cash out and put it in muni bonds in the state that you live in, assuming you you pay state income tax. this allows you to get state and federal tax free income. rates are probably shit but they're muni's and its stable income

IMO, XMR is on its own USD pair and no longer tied to BTC. It's definitely influenced by BTC swings, but I don't think entirely on the USD. Getting crushed in sats sucks but it's sustained rally since Rona even when everyone was seeing pink wojacks is when I started believing this.

It's USD pairings follow fib traces pretty well on the daily, with ~130 an obvious resistance/support. 165 was the next, and it ends around 190. The daily stoch RSI was already in oversold territory when the literal who exchange with almost 0 XMR volume announced the news, which fucked RSI even harder. Resistances held though so I'm bullish.

I think XMR may be much more influenced by darknet markets/foreign governments. Anyone committing serious international racketeering with XMR would need tons of reserves and are much more price sensitive. The wrapped XMR makes me even more bullish because it means increased liquidity and APY incentives from retail to institutional. I don't think XMR is truly exposed to a large portion of the buying market and that price discovery isnt even close yet.

I am long XMR and this is not financial advice.

Monero bros, this is the message for you to take out into the world:

Privacy coins are bloodless revolution.

The state has a monopoly on violence and, until very recently, a monopoly on issuing currency.

In times like these, when a sizable chunk of humans on the planet dislike their government but don't want war to destabilize their lives, adopting monero at the local economic level is an effective, legal, peaceful way to challenge the supremacy of the state.

Monero is activism that builds instead of burns.

Spread the good word.

Monero Monday, Chads Check In.

Friendly reminder that buying drugs on the internet was the original use case for crypto, and the flip to monero as the gold standard for DNMs is inevitable.

I think privacy will become increasingly important, period. Price may be negatively impacted in the short run as governments try to crackdown, but XMR is a top 3 coin and will show it in the long run.

wtf is this shitcoin? long time XMR holder here who's honestly never heard of "dero." just searched it and they don't even have a website on the first page of google... coinmarketcap does have them listed and shows on google, but it's listed 4th under 3 links from a small bike shop named "Dero Bike Shop." When I'm looking for an investment, the absolute last thing I'm looking for is a company valued at $14 million that's less relevant than a small-town bike shop...
