Neat. Thanks.
I find it very interesting that they essentially have loads of statments by gold bugs, but skip the usual
>And here's why they're wrong and you don't have to worry
expert that you normally find in mainstream media afterwards. Not too familiar with ft's stance, but that seems curious to me.
They only pull the environmental card

and I can't really blame them. Gold IS dirty, that simply is a fact. Yes, you might have images of burly, white men picking away in some dimly lit mine or panning in some nice mountain stream, but the reality is far from it.
You'd assume the big, western companies work cleanly, but even they have the occasional oopsie and/or don't care for the environment, when it's better for the bottom line and/or the local laws allow it.
And "artisanal" mining is a whole 'nother shitshow. Yes, there probably still are some guys just with a pan and shovel, producing no bigger impact than some turbidity, but mostly is a toxic shitshow made from mercury and arsenic.
So yes, as an environmentalist, I'd absolutely welcome a push for clean gold!
And as a gold bug, I'd do too! Because all those evil things aren't done because folks are evil - they're done because they're cheaper. So if we'd manage to make clean means mandatory world wide, that would put a new (higher) floor to gold prices!
Maybe it's going be a bit tough at first, but
>clean gold
would open it up to a wholly new class of investors, driving demand and thus prices.

>utterly minute gold dust
Well, that sounds like just my thing. Guess I gotta built an African style long dong.
How does this work without any good flow? I thought you need to “boil” the water for the heavies to settle, but this seems to purely work with very low flow. Guess you gotta classify to very fine?
