Hey lads.

I'm an American who wants to quickly and safely send a few hundred dollars to a friend in Russia. I've heard some kind of crypto may be the best way to do this.

No, it's not a scammer or a prostitute or anything like that. It's a friend I met while working in Western Europe a few years ago ago that I completely know and trust. I used to be able to just send a wire transfer, but with the events in Ukraine, that's no longer an option.

Is this possible? Is there some kind of 'Retard's Guide to Sending Money to People in Officially Unfriendly Countries'? I'm sure it's not legal, but I can't imagine anybody's going to give a shit about a few hundred bucks sent to a private citizen with no ties to the Russian military or government.

Thanks.
