I'm good at reading the market. first thing to know is that you're paying for the land more so than the house itself. So you have to do some dynamic maths on whether or not it's a good deal. I'm no dummie, but the location I'm looking at has good deals, with some obvious tradeoffs. But i'd never take a "variable rate" at this time. I mean how dumb do you have to be?
