FTSE goes up on a deal because it's good for the economy
FTSE goes up on no deal because that would tank the pound, boosting profits for FTSE 100 companies which do most of their trading outside the UK

That's why I've been buying UKX lately

Just wanted to say thanks for the replies to my LITHIUM MINING post earlier today (this morning for Amerifats). I meant to follow up and discuss but I was wagecucking at the time and got a call from my boss

Anyway, the London list ones I've taken small positions in are:
£BCN and £KDNC

Going to check out the ones people mentioned earlier

Is anyone else buying LITHIUM MINES?

I found some small cap ones on the UK markets. Fairly cheap. I read an article in the FT saying Lithium might moon because of the increasing EV manufacturing and batteries and shit. Is anyone else looking at this?

>but when you can place them at a reasonable distance from the Bogging-Bands and adjust them accordingly then you will learn to take profits with more frequency

But it's very difficult to judge what a "reasonable distance" is. For example look at what happened with WKHS just a few days ago

We went from highs of what.. $28? Higher? Down all the way to $19 from the USPS delay news, and today we hit $23 again. What if you had bought in really low, low teens? You'd be completely fucked unless you had a ridiculously wide ranging (and therefore pointless) stop loss

the latest developments will devestate the sweet, innocent children of the Autumn 2020 Golden Bullrun, now nearing its end. the memes are dying one by one. many newfags will close this familar tab never to return. a few will survive and remain with us. a few will make a stand, hold, accumulate cash, ready to face Bobo head on as we head into a dark and merciless winter

this how it was, how it should be, how despite our best intentions it always is

my feelings are mixed as i glance at my phone, at my few meme holdings which are making a loss but are too small to really matter to me. i look over my boring, non-meme holdings. familiar friends like oil, banks, utilities. i smile to myself faintly. i have lost money these past few days, but i'm ready to face the winter. i am ready to face Bobo.

my losses are limited by diversification.... unlimited are my opportunities

>Hedge fund manager Bill Ackman has put on another bet that companies will struggle to pay their debts, just eight months after he cashed in a $2.6bn profit from a similar trade at the start of the pandemic.

>The founder of Pershing Square told attendees at the Financial Times’ Dealmakers conference on Tuesday that markets had once again become too complacent about the coronavirus.

>At the start of this week he put on a new trade hedging his equity exposure with insurance against corporate defaults, he said.

>“I hope we lose money on this next hedge,” Mr Ackman said. “We’re in a treacherous time generally and what’s fascinating is the same bet we put on eight months ago is available on the same terms as if there had never been a fire and on the probability that the world is going to be fine.”

- from the FT

i rate this BULLISH because it might cause jerome to start pumping again

trump's tweets only mattered when he had power. he is now confirmed as a lame duck. with every minute, authority and power are draining away from him. biden's tweets are the ones to pay attention to now
