My deposit was pending for 4 days, then it cleared on Christmas, and now I have to wait till Monday. I've been watching the chart dip into 140s twice now, and I'm pretty sure I missed the bottom.

>i have no other source of income other than crypto: borrow stables against your eth/btc on compound and farm them in battle-tested smart contracts like curve at 10-20% or circle's usdc yield program at 8.5% yearly. use that extra money to make super high risk high return speculative bets on shitcoins (/biz/ will help you with this i'm sure). this way you are exposed to both eth/btc which are slowly but surely going to go up, but you are also leveraging them to increase your stack in a way that can't really harm you if you miss.
I always hear people say this is a zero-risk to add a 10-20% apy to your portfolio, but surely if ETH or BTC dips precipitously enough you get liq'd, right? Sorry if it's a stupid question, I just have a hard time believing there's this easy risk-free way to get extra yield on your blue chips. I'm also a fucking cynical brainlet who can't understand finance beyond buy low sell high, so most of this flash loan yield farming liquidity pool governance token defi weirdness goes way over my head and I assume because I can't understand it that it's all just another rube goldberg ponzi. I want to be proven wrong, is there like a retard's guide to defi that you could recommend that goes over the strategy you're talking about it using idiotproof language? I want to see the light but shit like HOTDOG makes me assume all defi is a smoke and mirrors game.

t. trapped in mid six figure hell with blue chips (BTC/ETH/LINK/XMR) and would love to grind an extra 10-20% annual yield on them to get into made-it territory faster, but too afraid to risk it on defi shit that I don't understand.

I've been away for a bit and don't really understand this hot new yield farming defi thing works. Please explain it to a boomer brainlet. I don't even really care about making money off of it, I made a shitton in LINK and I'm comfy saddled up in boomer BTC and ETH now. But I feel sorta retarded not understanding how these shitcoins are mooning 100x in a week consistently. Something to do with stablecoin baskets and loaning to yourself? Even if it's a scam, I still want to know how the magic trick works.

Shill your ycoins if you want, I'm not buying them. I just want to know what's going on behind the curtain.
