Does anyone else here think worrying about retirement is the most depressing shit on the planet

Id rather be rich at 20-40 then finally have money when youre 65. Everyone I talks to talks about being 23 and saving 20% of their check in a 401k and living below their means until they are 70 and pulling out a 2 million dollar check. Whats the point? Just sit at home and die and leave it to kids? Wtf

I dont even want to live that long I dont care if Im 70 and I have a house or if I live in some government apartment with disability checks. I wanna be rich now not some fucking geezer with a corvette and cant even walk a mile

Believe me, I've been buying physical. I just have January 2021 calls on SLV (yes i am well aware of the COMEX and the risk) that i was up a good amount on 2 days ago and was so close to reaching the portfolio value where i would cash everything out and quit my shitty grocery store job. Obviously now those calls got gutted today and likely will again tomorrow, and i still believe silver has great fundamentals so of course i will keep holding. It just hurts knowing how close i was to my goal.

And it's dumping again. It's over this time isn't it bros ? 29 was the new top and of course i bought it there. There's no winning for me i will never make it

i am afraid to open up my portfolio bros, i have a bunch of leveraged positions in silver. i will just wait for another green day in silver to even log in to my portfolio again, i can't bear to see what it looks like right now, i know its going to be terrible.
