Get a job working for a mobile carnival company. You will be (severely under-)paid in cash ($10/hour is normal). You will set up literally tons of metal rides, pull miles of heavy cable, etc, in the heat of the day. You will risk your life climbing impossible metal surfaces with lots of rust but no actual hand/footholds to fatal heights above asphalt. You will drive stakes & ground rods three feet deep into rocky ground littered with "niggerheads" -- buried concrete & maccadder lumps on the ends of extinct fenceposts -- forcing you to either pull back out and my be over six inches or just HATE your way through it with your twelve-pound sledgehammer. You will also get to disassemble them all in the dark while exhausted & sleep-deprived after midnight. You will get to stand in direct sunlight on hot diamond plate steel, operating rides, taking no breaks, pissing into bottles, dealing with shitty kids and their even worse parents (welfare & wealthy alike). You will go to jail if you look at your phone while operating your ride, allow a child who is a quarter-inch too short to ride, or "inappropriately" touch a child. You will feel your life grinding away as children squeel with laughter.
