Why do people see expensive clothing criticised as a consuming habit so much more than everything else? I understand for dumb shit like muh jordans that are made in the same factories by the same child slaves as literally any Nikes, but I'm talking about artisanal shit. But people have the exact same view towards it

Clothing is just a hobby of mine. A sustainable one, too, since high quality garments hold their value incredibly well, even increasing in value in some instances.
