Unless it’s an incredible coincidence, the theory about major funds unloading etfs and especially tech to cover shorts in the meme stocks looks like it’s playing out as predicted. Something that I think none of us can totally wrap our heads around is how small the float is, and for how long it’s consistently been drying up. This really might take some government bailouts at the end of the day. Ken Griffin and frens weren’t being ultra cautious in front of Congress for no reason.

The theoretical squeeze still hasn't happened. The stock is still very short at around 90%. Laddering was happening keeping the stock around 250 for most of the day. I don't got my life savings in this, but its fun to watch the chaos, but once the stock rockets, I am out with my measly 2 stocks.

Just before the circuit breaker was flipped earlier today this happened. Trades made within fractions of a second of each other at the exact same price that it was halted at.
